I took private lessons for two weeks at Speak Like a Mexican, and working with Amy was a wonderful experience. I’m naturally shy about speaking Spanish, but she immediately put me at ease. There was never any judgment, only a genuine commitment to helping me learn and feel more confident.

I’ve been taking weekly classes with Airam through Speak Like a Mexican for about 2 months now and I love it. She is so kind, engaging, and really good at adjusting the content and lesson to what I can interested in or want to focus on. I’ve learned not only about grammar and vocabulary, but things about Mexico City living and culture and history. We meet at a coffee shop and she is always puntual and prepared. I’m a “no sabo” who moved to Mexico to connect with the language and my roots.
